Life on a ranch is full of lessons. Through our 4-H style agriculture programs, children learn the value of stewardship, diligence, and care for God’s creation. From raising livestock to cultivating gardens, they see the results of patience, hard work, and responsibility.

Program Overview

The Seamark Ranch 4-H Farming & Homesteading Club is a year-long, faith-integrated youth program combining hands-on agricultural education, Christian discipleship, and workforce readiness. Meeting weekly throughout the school year, the club engages youth ages 10–17 in a balanced curriculum of gardening, livestock care, and homesteading, rooted in biblical principles of stewardship, diligence, and service.

Led by Seamark’s Agriculture Program Manager, this club serves as a cornerstone of Seamark’s broader workforce development initiative—equipping students not only to work the land but also to apply discipline, teamwork, and integrity in every area of life.

Educational Goals

The Seamark 4-H Club is designed to:

  • Build proficiency in practical agricultural, livestock, and homesteading skills.
  • Cultivate leadership, responsibility, and faith-based character through real work and mentorship.
  • Teach agribusiness and entrepreneurship fundamentals, such as budgeting, marketing, and sustainable production.
  • Encourage global and local stewardship, demonstrating how agriculture can serve communities in need.
  • Integrate biblical discipleship into every aspect of learning, reinforcing the call to care for creation as an act of worship.
