Relief Parent Involvement

The overall caretaking of our Seamark children and the continuous hard work of house parents relies heavily on Relief Parent involvement.

Relief Parents range from date nights to full-time opportunities and are an amazing way to relieve houseparent stress and give your time to take care of our amazing children on the Ranch. If this is of interest to you, fill out the interest form below

More Than A Home, A Family

Seamark Ranch transcends the group home environment and develops a healthy family culture. Boys’ and Girls’ homes are structured as a two-parent setting where the children receive the love, nurture, discipline and consistency every child deserves. Each family works, plays and attends church together, just like a ‘traditional’ family. Not only do the children feel safe, they also feel they have a family where they “belong”; some for the very first time. In the confines of their family they are developing healthy relationships, responsibility and accountability. Our goal is to nurture the pursuit of excellence in our children in all areas of their lives.

Residential Care
A stable, two parent home environment where children receive daily love, guidance, discipline, and consistency. Through family routines, shared responsibilities, and strong relationships, children experience safety, belonging, and emotional growth.

Workforce Development
Practical life and job readiness training that equips young people with responsibility, accountability, and real world skills. This program helps build confidence, work ethic, and preparation for independent and productive futures.

Education
Academic support and structured learning that encourages growth, discipline, and the pursuit of excellence. Education at Seamark Ranch focuses on developing knowledge, character, and a strong foundation for lifelong success.

A Message from the Heart

“Seamark has had a truly life changing impact on me. Before joining, I often struggled to believe in myself and wasn’t sure what direction I wanted to take in life. I didn’t always have confidence in who I was or where I was headed, but through Seamark, I found people who believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. The program gave me a place where I could feel supported, understood, and encouraged to grow. The people there have shown me what it means to care for others and to let others care for you in return.”

“One of my favorite Bible verses is Esther 4:14 specifically where it says, “perhaps you were put in this position for such a time as this.” I always knew I wanted to help children and families with my career. I was familiar with places like Seamark, so when my husband and I got married we said one day we can serve in a ministry like that after we are established and have more experience. God had other things planned for us though. The door opened to be girls’ houseparents at Seamark and I’m so glad it did. In the past year we have been able to pour into four middle school girls. We have seen immense emotional, social, and spiritual healing in our house. Two of girls have even been saved during their time at Seamark. Reflecting on the year I can clearly see how God put the girls with us “for such a time as this.” He has put me and my husband at Seamark “for such a time as this.” Even down to my son born December 2024, God has put him here at Seamark and our entire family in ministry, “for such a time as this.”
